KINGSTON — The plan to convert the vacant Carnegie library building on Broadway into an arts and technology center has received final approval from state Education Department, according to James Shaughnessy, a Kingston Board of Education member and chairman of its Carnegie Committee.
Fundraising plans were among the items discussed at a recent luncheon meeting of the Vivian Stuber Memorial Library. In the absence of Chairwoman Mary Lee Peck, co-chairman Minnie Woodworth called the meeting to order and proceeded to review items that had been discussed at the last board meeting.
