Another step made for new Argentine library

The Kansas City, Kan., Board of Education approved a call for bids this morning on the demolition of the Thiftway Store inside the Silver City Shopping Center. The store’s demolition will make way for the new branch of the Argentine Library. A private fundraising effort remains underway to help fund the new library’s construction.
